We build one animation for one artwork, with the artist in the room.
Art Alive is a small studio working with painters, printmakers, galleries and mural artists. The physical piece is never altered — the motion exists only in the camera, anchored to the surface of the original.
How we work with an artist

First conversation
You tell us about the work, where it lives, and what you would want a viewer to feel. Nothing is built until the direction feels right to you.

Photograph and recognition target
We capture a high-resolution reference of the piece and compile it into a recognition target so a phone can lock onto the real surface.

Creative direction
Our studio tools read composition, palette, depth and focal points, then propose three distinct treatments. Faces, signatures, text and any region you mark stay untouched.

Review and approval
You watch the treatment against your own image, adjust intensity, timing and which areas move, and ask for changes in plain language until it is yours.

Publish behind a permanent code
The finished experience goes live with a code that can sit beside the work, on a label, or on a wall, plus a certificate a collector can verify.

Ongoing care
If the work moves, the frame changes, or you want a new season of motion, we re-version the experience. The code beside the artwork never changes.
What we protect
- The original is never painted over, reprinted, or digitally replaced.
- Motion is selective — a small share of the surface moves, chosen with you.
- Camera frames are processed on the visitor's device and are not uploaded.
- You keep the rights to your work. We only publish what you approve.
- We do not imitate the style of another living artist.
What we look for
- Work with texture, depth or narrative that rewards a second look.
- A piece that stays somewhere a visitor can stand in front of it.
- Murals and large walls, indoor or outdoor.
- Editions and single originals alike — collectors receive a certificate either way.
